Overland International founders Bob Shemwell, FAIA, LEED AP BD+C, NCARB, and Bryan Trubey, FAIA, RID, each pursued their own careers after meeting in college — Bryan became one of the world’s foremost sports architects with 29 years leading the sports division at HKS and Bob became renowned for sensitive site specific and sustainable design during his 30+ year career at Overland Partners. In 2021, they were able to realize their longtime ambition to work together and today they own and lead Overland International, working on sports, entertainment, hospitality, and urban design projects across the world.
